Village Office, 314 E Forest St, Lone Rock, WI,

Board Members: Dan Quinn, President; Mary Litviak; Steve Morgenson; Harry Pulvermacher; Brandon Bindl; Adam Reno; Chris Conner

MINUTES

Roll Call was taken by Tammy Christianson with all members present.

Christa Quinn, AJ Christianson, Clay Porter, Mary Moneypenny, Brad & Mary Seymour, Theresa Jensen, Brandy Dosch – ZOOM: Linda Schwanke-HomeNews, Krystle M., AJ

Motion made by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by Mary Litviak to approve agenda as presented, all voted aye, carried.

Motion made by Steve Morgenson, seconded by Brandon Bindl approving 12/13/2022 minutes, all voted aye, carried.

Chris Astrella (ZOOM) TownWeb gave a brief presentation on the new web design. Harry Pulvermacher asked about liability when using credit cards for payment? The Village is not responsible for payments made online.

Clay Porter Richland County Sheriff's Office - per hiring officer. Richland County will not be able to hire an additional officer to cover Lone Rock. Richland County can provide a current officer for general coverage. New service agreement will be developed and reviewed by the Board. Richland County will cover all liability.

County Line Road Project: Dan Quinn announced that the Village will be responsible for ½ of the road from the Kennedy Road corner to Hwy 130, by milling & relaying.

Motion made by Adam Reno, seconded by Harry Pulvermacher to grant permission to Frontier Utility ROW for Village of Lone Rock (Spring Green WI 2514223), all voted aye, carried.

Motion made by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by Adam Reno, to accept the logo on page c – top, all voted aye, carried.

Tammy Christianson asked to increase poll workers compensation. Since this wasn’t in the budget for 2023 will revisit for 2024.

EMS: Brandy Dosch has been elected as the new president. Steve Morgenson would like to sell or donate the 2nd defib to the Lone Rock Fire District since the village doesn’t have a police officer. LR Fire District is having a meeting later this week, will discuss.

Library: Steve Morgenson reported receiving 2 good resumes. Security camera’s will be installed the Friday.

Public Works Department – Brad Wilson & Haydn Walsh

Motion made by Adam Reno, seconded by Chris Conner to set a $150.00 maximum per year for the purchase of safety clothing/steel toed boots, all voted aye, carried.

• Tractor and truck are at WI Surplus to be sold.

• Bathrooms at the Community Center are working, new heater installed and ordered the part for the water heater.

• Tools boxes arrived and below allowable cost.

Public Input
• Mary Moneypenny suggested getting camera’s that gives out tickets for speeding.
• Brad Seymour liked the sound of using the county for police services.
• Harry Pulvermacher would like staff to investigate a computer/better sound system for ZOOM meetings. Revisit next meeting.

• Tuesday, January 17th - Caucus – 7:00 PM – Village Office.

Next Board Meeting – February 14, 2023, 7:00 PM at the Village Office.
