Roll Call was taken by Tammy Christianson with all members present.

Motion to approve agenda by JR Marshall, seconded by Mary Litviak, all voted aye, carried.

Motion to approve 06/08/2021 Minutes by Mary Litviak, seconded by Brandon Bindl, all voted aye, carried.

Tom Johnson spoke on Informational Kiosk with rules, regulations, and club information. Tom suggested a spot that already has post. To find out that the posts are located on Railroad property. Dan Quinn spoke on getting railroad permission is not easy. If was suggested that he works with Brad Wilson on other spots and bring it back the village board.

Tom Johnson also spoke about the Coon Hunt (night ride). The WI River Runners ATV is asking permission to run ATV after hours from the Parking Lot to the Trails.
Motion to grant permission by JR Marshall, seconded by Steve Morgenson, all voted aye, carried.

Motion to approve operators licenses for Christianson Family Enterprises, LLC (Keg & Kettle): Christopher Gschwind, Tatiana Espinoza, Seth Eveland, Curtis Lawinger & Sara Christianson. D&Z’s: Jessica Bartle and Dollar General: Diana Druckery by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by Steve Morgenson, all voted aye, carried.

Village Drive thru Cleanup is set for Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 5:00 PM. Discussion will follow.

Discussion on charging for the use of Community Center for a funeral luncheon by the Funeral Home. Tammy Christianson stated that the funeral home was making the arrangements for a Lone Rock Family. After clarification, the procedure will not change. Local families will not be charging a fee.

Motion to approve Building Permit for Chris Wisomg – Electrical (6/30) by JR Marshall, seconded by Harry Pulvermacher, all voted aye, carried.

Mary Litviak read out loud Resolution #2021-06: To incorporate annual employee review policy. Motion made to adopt resolution #2021-06 at read by JR Marshall, seconded by Brandon Bindl, all voted aye, carried.

EMS – Theresa Jensen distributed bids on a used/demo PowerLOAD lift. Some of the crew got a chance to see the lift work and was impressed how easy it works and saves on backs.
Harry Pulvermacher asked if this lift is installed in current ambulance could it be installed in a newer ambulance in the future? Theresa answered yes.
Motion made to approve the purchase and installation of the PowerLOAD Lift by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by JR Marshall, all voted aye, carried.

Theresa Jenson also informed that a call came in and they arrived there was no resident. After a few minutes the same call informed them, it was a home located in the alley way.
Steve Morgenson suggested anyone calling for an ambulance provide as much information as possible of the location.

Library – Caitlin Opatik – 170 users for June doubled the number from May. A sign up and out form will be used at the library.

Streets & Parks – Haydn Walsh/Brad Wilson – Brad Wilson was approached by a homeowner about the possibility of selling the old jail lot. Pat Slaney was interested in the building for a possible storage site for St Vincent ideas. Discussion on the condition of the jail followed. Suggestion was made to Pat Slaney of possible finding a retail building to use. The idea of selling the lot will on the August agenda.

Marvin Joles gave an updated on the Firemen’s Skate Park. Stencils coming and a bar was damaged so that needs to be replaced.

Marvin voice a concern on the sidewalk in front of his building and tree that is heaving it. During the 4th of July he watched people tripping on it. Dan Quinn stated that the tree removal has been placed in the contractor’s book.

Water & Sewer – Brad Wilson – provided a bid from MSA on getting sewer map made for the Village.
Motion made to accept MSA bid by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by Mary Litviak, all voted aye, carried.

DNR evaluated the wells in the village with minor findings. A new contract was presented and read to the Village Board by Dan Quinn.
Motion to accept the new contract to move the reevaluation from 3 years to 5 years by JR Marshall, seconded by Steve Morgenson, all voted aye, carried.

Mary Litviak reported on the timelines for the Ewers Project and the Comprehensive Plan.

Dan Quinn and the Fire Chief (Adam Reno) will complete Richland County Natural Hazards Preparedness & Mitigation Questionnaire for Darin Gudgeon, EM Director of Richland County.

Dan Quinn up coming activities for the office.
Tammy Christianson provided information on a new clerk training but does not like it by Milwaukee.
Motion to find a training somewhere else by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by Steve Morgenson, all voted aye, carried.

Upcoming Committee Meetings and ZOOM Public Hearing for the month July and August 2021 we announced by Dan Quinn.

Therefore, in lieu of newspaper ads and notices, the Village of Lone Rock posts on the Village of Lone Rock website, www.villageoflonerock.com, at the Village Post Office, and at both the inside and outside bulletin boards at the Lone Rock Village Office, 314 E Forest St. This more than meets the criteria required per this legislation. (Approved by the Village Board at its meeting on February 9, 2016.)
