Minutes of the meeting of the Lone Rock Village Board held on Tuesday February 09, 2016. Roll call – All Present. A motion by Pulvermacher second by JR Marshall, to adopt the agenda as presented carried. Approval of Minutes carried with a motion by Pulvermacher and a second by JR Marshall.


Lone Rock School Closing – Dan McGuire representing The Truth Committee presented fact finding information their committee had gathered. A motion allowing Dan to contact the Ithaca, Richland Center and Riverdale school districts to gather information on possibly switching to their district carried with a motion from Morgenson and a second by Whalen.


Posting of Notices - A motion to post village notices and ads on the Village of Lone Rock website, at the Post Office, and at both the inside and outside bulletin boards at the Lone Rock Village Office, 314 E Forest St., in lieu of newspaper ads and notices carried with a motion by JR Marshall and second by Corey Ewers.


Kennel License Application – Approval of a kennel license for Kristina & Lauri Sanderfoot; 312 E Richland St. carried with a motion from Pulvermacher and a second from Morgenson.


American Legion Auxiliary Temporary Class “B” License for Vets Roll Cabin Fever Dance, March 5th, 2016. A motion from Pulvermacher and a second from Corey Ewers to grant the license carried.


Joint Powers Agreement – a motion by Morgenson and a second by Pulvermacher carried authorizing the Village of Lone Rock to enter into the annual agreement with Sauk County Emergency 911 System as in past years.


Parks – The playground equipment has been ordered and will arrive the last week in March.


Police – During the interim between now and a newly elected judge, Police Chief Ryan Price recommended anyone having problems with collecting restitutions contact Vickie Bedard. 


Streets – Received estimate on tractor and will proceed with insurance claim. Ok from State to proceed on Welcome to Lone Rock signs; will get a contract for the project and review it at next board meeting.


Library – Street department will shovel the sidewalks at the library until further notice. The annual report is in. Library use is up or holding strong in all offered programs and services.


Water and Sewer - Dollar General’s engineers are researching best way to get water & sewer to a site. Dan is writing a CMOM program for the village
