Minutes of The Village of Lone Rock - Finance Committee
Held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 6:00 P.M.
at the Community Center, 156 E Liberty, Lone Rock, WI.

Committee Members: Mary Litviak – Chair, Justin Wahl, Steve Morgenson.

Roll Call taken with all members present.

Also, in attendance: Dan Quinn, Tammy Christianson, Esther Marshall, Adam Reno, Brad Wilson, Jasen Glasbrenner

Motion to approve agenda by Steve Morgenson, seconded by Justin Wahl, carried.

Jasen Glasbrenner, Richland Economic Development Director, spoke on CDBG CLOSED Grant funds for Richland County and Richland Center.

Funds may be used on upgrading/developing areas in the Village of Lone Rock, ex: Bike Path, Streets, Lighting, etc.

The application must be completed by the end of January 2021 with a fee of $4,500.00.

Upon approval the Village will have 2 years to complete project(s).

VLR employee policies guidelines – Tammy Christianson distributed a sample handbook.

EMS New Recruit – Steve Morgenson distributed a Lone Rock Rescue Service Agreement. This agreement will ask EMT or EMR to commit a minimum of one (1) year of service.

Dan Quinn would like the village attorney to review before distributed.

Posting of Notices – Per 2015 Senate Bill 137, 2015 Wisconsin Act 79 Section 2. 985.02 (02) (a) All Village Notices must be posted in at least one public place likely to give notice to persons affected and placed electronically on an Internet site maintained by the municipality. Therefore, in lieu of newspaper ads and notices, the Village of Lone Rock posts on the Village of Lone Rock website, www.villageoflonerock.com, at the Village Post Office, and at both the inside and outside bulletin boards at the Lone Rock Village Office, 314 E Forest St. This more than meets the criteria required per this legislation. (Approved by the Village Board at its meeting on February 9, 2016.)
